LOVE AND TYMOLOGY

Ebreo says that knowledge depends on love and I agree with him. 

Love allows men to make their souls bud, so that they can have a soul for the soul of things, and can own them entirely, without having a superficial perception of them. 

Considering the things we have to do just as an assignment or a hateful exercise allows us to graze them without never really penetrating them. To love something means to know it beyond its nature and its scientific techniques.

To love art, for instance, does not mean to be able to draw, it means to have a soul for the soul of art; this soul for art becomes one of your darker and more hidden feelings, something that maybe not many people detect in you, but that makes the floor under your feet totter. 

Nowadays however we have little time and time is the most important dimension for this sort of things. Silvano Agosti says that every man should work maximum 4 hours a day and have enough time to love things. Time is fundamental but this levelling society does not give us time, and moreover it does not grant us time, inducing people to renounce it. 

I recommend everybody to see a beautiful film by Agosti, entitled "Of love we live".
